We do allow pets, as long as they are in a travel carrier and must fit on your lap unless a seat is purchased for them separately.

For the comfort of our passengers we limit our capacity to 5 passengers, however we can accommodate groups of up to 7 upon request.

We accept one suitcase (up to 50 lbs) and one small personal bag per passenger. Please note we are not responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Although our vans do not have a wheel chair lift, they are very easy to get in and out of. Our drivers make every effort to assist passengers with any needs they may have while travelling with us.

We try our best to accommodate walkers whenever we can but we kindly ask you inform us about your walker at time of booking. If this is not done we reserve the right to refuse it.

In the interest of passenger safety and for liability reasons we reserve the right to refuse service to any passenger that appears to be under the influence of any intoxicating substance or is deemed unfit to travel at time of pick-up. This will result in your trip being cancelled and your fare being forfeited.

Our professional drivers assess road and weather conditions on a daily basis. If travel is deemed to be unsafe for the day we reserve the right to cancel trips. We will work with our passengers to rebook them when it is safe to resume travel or offer a full and immediate refund in the original payment method.

We understand things happen in life but in fairness to our other passengers we can only wait a maximum of 15 minutes past your confirmed pick-up time. Any time later than this will result in your trip being cancelled and fare being forfeited.

At Blue Water Shuttle we place your safety and comfort as our top priority. We drive only the newest and most luxurious vehicles available; and limit our capacity to 5 passengers. We only hire the best class 1 commercial drivers. All drivers are First Aid and CPR certified. We are commercially insured and registered with the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board.

Our standard rate is $125 and our student/senior rate is $120, per seat, one way, tax included.

Yes, we provide drop-off and pick-up service at the airport.

We do our first pick-up in Sydney beginning at 6:30am and begin pick-ups in Halifax between 12:00pm and 1:00pm.

The average trip takes between 4.5 to 5 hours, depending on weather and traffic conditions.
